With 180 agencies and over 11,000 pages of regulations, it isn’t easy to start a business in Oregon. As head of the Corporation Division, Knute will actively seek out new businesses and employers for Oregon. He will help businesses navigate this complex maze and work to make Oregon a business-friendly state.
Knute will streamline the business licensing process and make the Secretary of State’s office a stronger partner in growing Oregon’s economy.
