League of Women Voters Video Interview

Knute recently sat down with Marge Easley of the League of Women Voters for an interview.  Knute worked closely with the LWV in 1994 to pass a landmark campaign finance reform ballot initiative.  Watch the video below then share your comments with us.

“You are the second highest ranking elected official in the state – the Lt. Governor – and we really need to step up in that office and play that important role.  In the past, we had Secretaries of State who did that, people who were seen as independent problem solvers, people like Norma Paulus, Phil Keisling and Mark Hatfield, and we need to get that back in our Secretary of State’s office.  People really focused on bringing solutions to key problems in Oregon.”  ~Knute
